Viva El Paso Is Back For Another Year Of Festivities

Celebrate the intersection of culture that is El Paso, Texas this Summer at Viva El Paso, the City of the Sun's very own outdoor musical spectacular, now in its 34th year running! The all-singing, all-dancing, narrated extravaganza honors the city's four major cultures (Native Americans, Spanish, Mexicans and Western Americans) and brings to life their vibrant histories with a 50-strong ensemble cast of local performers.

The brainchild of the respected head of El Paso Community College's Drama Department Hector Serrano, the show was suspended in 2014 due to lack of funds, but it made a bigger and bolder return in 2015, bolstered by the community. Whilst paying homage to the traditions of the American Southwest, the production also fosters local talent, giving performers and producers a chance to shine.
